A unique piece from Sibundoy

Bead weaving is one of the most important lines of Colombian crafts; Artisans from different indigenous communities create with their hands and thread by thread, extraordinary pieces that reflect the culture and tradition of the country. Pieces that have been made with dedication and delicacy by artisan hands for years. For the Kamëntsá, weaving is a way of writing, thinking and relating to the world. Traditionally, pieces woven with beads are part of the clothing and depending on their colors and images, they are energy for the people who wear them. Their connection with nature, which is their main inspiration, is reflected in their crafts.
