A unique piece from Saraguro

The backpack is comfortable and spacious so you can take your belongings anywhere. We are at the beginning of unique handmade pieces using sheep wool as a base, spun and carded by the artisans of the highlands of Huehuetenango and then sent to Momostenango where the wool is dyed and woven into large canvases. through pedal looms. It is made by different indigenous peoples, with love and dedication, who have preserved techniques that have been passed down from generation to generation. Once this step is ready, the canvases are taken to Guatemala City to give them a special treatment with natural products to provide resistance and malleability. Finally, the piece is taken to a leather goods workshop where the wool is combined with natural leather and cotton for the internal lining, resulting in authentic pieces with history and tradition with abundant colors and unique designs that represent the essence of the country.
